About the project Project e-violin is devoted to the music of the performer V l a d i m i r V e t t e-violin is:
• The solo project, where in a role vocalist is played by the musical instrument - electronic violin with its unusual sound.
• Electric violinist Vladimir Vett with his bright manner of performance and powerful energy.
• Author's music in the "Progressive Violin" style by the composer Ilya Murtazin (Endorphin). • Professional arrangement, which includes different kinds of music: New-classic, R&B, Disco, House, Fusion, Ethnic.
The sound-producer of the project is Anatoly Machulenko, «Sound-service» studio.
What is an electric violin?
The electric violin is an evolution of the classical musical instrument. It perfectly combines the sincerity and expressiveness of a classical violin and the technical opportunities of an electronic guitar: the extended range of sound; the new types of sounds made by electronic devices of processing.
Each violin by Stradivarius had its unique sound due to the talent of the master, but the sound of an electroviolin firstly depends on the performer – his skill, playing techniques, musical taste and certainly on the performance manner. The electric violin has the unique sound and, as well as a classical violin, requires the impeccable skills of playing.
At the moment the electronic violin is an independent instrument, which is developing under its own laws and making new demands to the performer.
What instruments does Vladimir Vett play?
The two unique electric violins - «Aurora» and «Viper» are involved in Vladimir Vett's concert program «Revolutionary Fiddlestick».
«Aurora» is the exact electronic copy of a classical violin; it's a hand-made violin by the Russian master. «Viper» is a five-string electronic violin produced in USA especially for Vladimir Vett. It is unique in Russia. The instrument is pearly white; its shape resembles the open snake mouth. Due to the special system of support, such a violin provides the performer with a complete freedom of movement. What are the peculiarities of the Progressive Violin style?
Anatoly Machulenko, the sound-producer of the e-violin project: " The modern, fashionable arrangement, which includes different kinds of music: New-classic, R&B, Disco, House, Fusion and Ethnic. I would even say - orchestration - musical accompaniment satiated with polyphony. The unique sound was found in every composition for a violin. I found it very interesting to work on this project because it is very unusual and unordinary. It differs much from other modern vocal projects, let alone violin projects".
Where can Vladimir Vett be heard?
Vett gives concerts in Moscow clubs, at corporate and private parties.
